Welcome to the speech/language page! My name is Mrs. Rich and I am one of the speech/language pathologists that provide speech/language services at Grand Prairie Elementary School. Did you know that a speech/language pathologist must have at least a master's degree to practice? I have a Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and a second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I hold a Type 10 Professional Educator's License, a Type 75 General Administrative Certificate, and a Director of Special Education Endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education. I also have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and maintain a state license to practice outside of the school system. I am a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Illinois Speech and Hearing Association. I have been a practicing speech/language pathologist for 30 years. I can be reached by phone at (815) 577-3167 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
